South Africa class
About us
South Africa class are a team of 30, with the aim to become more confident, independent, and courageous by the end of the year.
To achieve our goal of independence, we incorporate ‘The 5 ‘B’s’ into our day-to-day life in the classroom – brain, board, book, buddy, boss!
Our class mascot is Dave the sloth – he is cool, calm and kind – we should all be like Dave!
We love reading and sharing books that we enjoy, especially in our cosy book corner with pillows and teddys.
South Africa’s favourite books are the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.
We enjoy the opportunities Year 3 brings such as being in the Stone Age for the day and speaking up about the problems of plastic waste and are preparing for what Year 4 might bring!
