Scotland class
About us
In Scotland class, there are 28 children and 4 adults.
We endeavour to become members of the Saint James Family by following the School values of Love, Respect and Courage.
To help us understand how to show these in our everyday lives we listen to the linked Bible stories and enjoy singing songs.
We strive to become independent learners through our understanding of our Characters of Effective Learning for example Persevering Parrot, Exploring Elephant and Concentrating Crocodile.
Our learning isn’t limited to inside the classroom, we enjoy learning in our “garden, woods and yard.”
We love sharing our favourite stories with each other at storytime and we are looking forward to all of the opportunities we have this year including going to Longdown Farm.

- Hand up to speak.
- Indoor voices.
- Kind hands and feet.
- Tidy up.
